e are a small design studio creating handmade art pottery in Portland, Oregon. Our pottery is inspired by the natural beauty of the Great Northwest and the idyllic gardens of Lonesomeville which surround
our studio.

ll of our designs begin life as a sculpted original by renowned Northwest artist Danny Hills. His work has been featured in galleries and museums around the county including The Hearst Museum, The St.
Louis Art Museum and Christie’s Auction House.

ach piece of Lonesomeville pottery begins with Danny's original hand-sculpted design. We then create a mold of Danny’s original using the same time-honored techniques employed by the great pottery houses
of the 19th and early 20th century, such as Roseville and McCoy Pottery.

n order to ensure heirloom-quality pieces, our studio produces no more than three limited editions per week. This ensures that our pottery is hand-crafted to exacting standards, resulting in heirlooms to be
treasured for generations.

very aspect of production is done here in our studio. Our glazes are formulated to best reflect the character and detail of our designs. Two or three coats of glaze are applied to each piece by hand, which
brings a character and warmth to the pieces that is impossible to replicate in single-glaze, factory produced pottery.

ur pottery appears in such iconic western institutions as the Ahwahnee Lodge in Yosemite, The Gamble House in Pasadena, the de Young Museum in San Francisco and The Inn at Torrey Pines.
